Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center
The Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center offers a window into a working forest environment and hydroelectric power production. The 18,000 acres of the Boulder Lake Management Area serve as a “classroom” for students of all ages and community members can learn about the management of natural resources and foster stewardship connections.
The cooperative education program is a partnership among Minnesota Power, St. Louis County Land and Minerals Department, and the University of Minnesota Duluth.
