Log A Load
Stewardship for the land translates into care for children through Minnesota Power’s participation in the Log A Load charitable timber harvest events. Periodically, as part of our ongoing forest management practices, we work with local loggers and others in the forest products industry to support Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minnesota. Gillette, part of the Children’s Miracle Network, offers specialized medical care for children living with cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other developmental disorders.
Through Log A Load, Minnesota Power donates the revenue from timber sales conducted on its properties to support Gillette. Local loggers and other timber industry partners donate their time and services to harvest and process the wood.
